Your Rights Under the CCPA
Right to Know What Personal Information We Collect
California residents have the right to request details regarding the personal information FARECATOR has gathered about them in the last 12 months. This includes information on how we’ve used and disclosed your personal data. You may submit such requests up to twice per 12-month period, subject to verification of your identity.
Right to Request Deletion
You have the right to ask that we delete any personal information we have collected from you, subject to specific exceptions outlined by law. After we verify your identity and determine no legal obligation requires us to retain your data, we will delete it. In some cases, we may retain a record of your deletion request to comply with regulatory obligations.
Right to Opt Out of “Sale” of Personal Information
The CCPA provides you with the ability to opt out of the "sale" of your personal information, which is broadly defined under the law. FARECATOR may share certain categories of personal information (excluding sensitive financial data) with advertising or marketing service providers in a manner that could be classified as a "sale" under CCPA.
To exercise your right to opt out, please click the "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link that appears for users visiting our website from California IP addresses.
Please note: This opt-out does not prevent us from sharing your information:
• With affiliates or vendors for operational or transactional purposes;
• As necessary to complete bookings or fulfill service requests;
• As part of a business restructuring, merger, or asset sale.
How to Exercise Your Rights
You can submit a request to access or delete your personal information in any of the following ways:
• By emailing us at: support@farecator.com
To opt out of the "sale" of your personal information, please use the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link available to California users on our website.
FARECATOR will not discriminate against you for exercising any rights granted by the CCPA. This includes denying services, charging different prices, or offering a different quality of service.
